Another hauler by Gauhati University

Gauhati University is making it clear that business is superior than rights of students.

Gauhati university is making life tougher for the students as they have increased the price of the 3rd semester students by RS 250 for or no reason. The students that have done the online payment earlier have done it in RS 800 and now students have to pay 1050 rupee. And rumors have come that prices will rise up. It like the increase in the price of petrol, and other good s that the online payment have been increased. This is a rubbish act by the university that they have increased the price of the online exam fee in middle of the registration process. Many students from poor background have saved money to fill up their form and sudden increase of the price in middle of the registration has gave then a big headache.

It is not new that gauhati university have done something unusual. Last time 1st semester result was a real deserter with many students receiving wrong results even the results have been given after 6 month after the exams. Later the results have been corrected in some cases but in more cases the errors made by the university were paid by the innocent students.

we have already written about the delay made by the university in the results of their exams. And 2nd semester results are on the cards. As it has been 5 months from the ending the 2nd semester examination and there have been no sign of results.

Our assam study community is working hard to bring the different problems to the world for the students of assam. And those students that are not covered by the media and social media more that the degree students. Only the gauhati university students know that the problems that they face the students. It is not just one time but for last 3 to 4 year it have been repeated by the university so we want you support to raise the issue and try to at-least make aware of these problem and if possible take this problem to the higher stage and make government involve. Because it’s just about the university it’s about the life of many students that trusts the university.
